To
our Band Students, Families, and Alumni:
We intend to use the capabilities of this site to be a "hub of all band
information." You will find all the collective information that
you need to follow and manage a busy band schedule - directions to events,
itineraries, and even "updated from the road" return arrival times and
scores from competitions! Visit our
MB schedule webpage for all the links you need.
This website is produced in
two parts: there is a main Public Area for much of our
general information, and a Members Only area requiring an
authorized user id and password to access (click here to
request access). All Apex band families
and alumni can and should request access to this restricted website
section for information reference and participation in sign up
opportunities.
The Members Only area contains:
 | photo and video galleries, (alumni--check out the
"Showcase of Shows" history pages to relive your band adventure!) |
 | a handy band roster that can serve as an online phone
and address book directory, |
 | organizational information from our committees
heads managing their duties so that everyone can get a handle on how the
system works and pulls together, and |
 | availability to change your contact profile information
if you move or change phone numbers or emails. Be sure to update
us so that we can stay in touch! |
As an interactive website, you can participate in
surveys, submit your feedback through questionnaire forms, RSVP to events, and sign up
to volunteer on various committees. If you can't find the
information you need or have suggestions for additional content, you can
always send an email to "Info email" (click to reveal the
spam-protected email address) and we will be in touch with you.

To
our Visitors:
Band is an active part of high school life, and we are
happy to share our band experience with you. You can click on the menu sidebar
links to browse the main topics of interest on our site. The visual
way to get to know our band is to visit our "Showcase of Shows" web area,
where a recap of show seasons and VIDEO is available to you.
You may notice that the photos our our public website
seem "out of focus", but unless the photo shot is from a distance or has
been made public in a newspaper, our photos are prepared with a blurred
technique to protect the identity of our students. Members of the
band can have access to the clear photo shots in our private web albums.
We love to get feedback from the community, and we
appreciate your encouragement. Use our
Guestbook to drop
us a note about our program. You will especially want to view the
Marching Band and
Academic Band schedules so you will know when and where we are performing.
We are known and active in our community providing
special band appearances or assistance at local businesses and charity
organizations. Most visitors see the Marching Band perform during
half time at the high school football games, but we do much more than
that. The Marching Band enters into five to six formal competitions
each year and it has established a reputation for a crowd pleasing show
performed with precision mechanics and advanced moves and techniques.
Performing in the Marching Band is akin to an athletic sport but also
combines talents from the fine arts as well. It is pure "music in
motion!" The Band enlivens the holiday season with Parades and Holiday
Concerts. Academic Bands and serious music students compete in
district, state, and honors competitions, and have received consistent Superior
ratings -- the best possible.
