Grocery Card Fundraising

You gotta eat! Feed your student account with 99% of the earnings!

Buy groceries for the same price that you always do at Lowe’s, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Kroger! These stores give Apex Band Boosters an easy way to build your student account—this money can be used throughout the year to purchase band-related items. Many families save their money for band fees for the following year or the big trip that’s coming up next year.

Lowe’s Foods cards earn 5%, Food Lion, Harris Teeter and Kroger cards earn 4%.

Here’s how it works for Lowe’s Foods, Food Lion, and Harris Teeter:

As an example, you write a check for $200 (any amount in increments of $50) to the Apex Band Boosters, and you will get $200 in grocery gift cards. For Lowe’s, the band receives $10 (5%), which will be deposited into your student’s account. If you choose Food Lion or Harris Teeter, you’ll get $8 (4%) for your student’s account. When you’re done with these cards, you will need to buy new ones.

Here’s how it works for Kroger: Kroger offers a re-loadable card. You write a check one time for $5 to the Apex Band Boosters, and you will get a $5 Kroger gift card. When you go to Kroger, you can put more money onto your gift card at the checkout using a check or your credit card.

Cards that have been ordered can be picked up at monthly booster meetings. Don’t forget your friends, neighbors and co-workers! They have to eat, too! If you have any questions, please contact Angie Koch at 274-8846 or Grocery Cards Email (click to reveal the spam protected email address).

Checks should be made payable to “Apex Band Boosters” with a note in the memo line stating the grocery store you want with the amount for your cards. Or print this page and use the order form at the bottom.
