Donations
Beryl Pittman, coordinator
camp@apexhighband.org

Let Beryl know what you are able to send.  She will make arrangements to get the items from you.  We need to keep our #110 students happy and healthy.

A)  Freezer Pops/Snacks      To provide nourishment and cool-down for some weary marchers. Last year we used close to 3200 freezer pops! We prefer the ones that come in the net bag, already separated.

B)  Wash Cloths                    We freeze washcloths and use them to cool off marchers that have become overheated.

C)  Snacks                            Send Something Healthy!  Great are individual packets of snack crackers, granola bars, but no chocolate -- it melts in the heat!

Band Staff Dinner
Doreen Herold, coordinator
camp@apexhighband.org

You can host the Staff (5-8 persons) at your home. They will need directions and will arrive about 5:30.  This is always a hit with the host families as well as the staff.  Preference goes to families of senior band members. Note: We have already filled all the available nights but if you would like to be “Stand-by” in case of a last minute cancellation, let us know.

Nametags for the Picnic
Joan Laureano, coordinator
camp@apexhighband.org

If you are a wiz at Word, Excel, and/or Access software, we can provide the RSVP data list to you and you can create our introductory nametags.  We like to include some profile information about the student and/or parent on each nametag as a conversation ice breaker (i.e., student's instrument and grade for example).  Then, if you would like, you could meet and greet arrivals at the entrance to the picnic as they pick up their nametags.  With so many new people at camp, it is a nice way to get to meet everyone!
