* All parents who travel with the band will be required to act as chaperones for the group

Chaperone Responsibilities

NO alcohol consumption or gambling in casinos by chaperones

bullet

Each chaperone will be responsible for a group of students. You will arrange times throughout the day to “check-in” while on board the ship.

Students must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times while off the ship.

Student Safety Measures

Students participating in the music festival will wear an arm band signifying they are with the festival group

All room keys are punched with holes that make cruise employees aware the students are not allowed in casinos or to be served alcohol or cigarettes

Chaperone: student ratio anticipated to be 1:5

bullet

Students are required to return to their rooms by 1:00 am, unless accompanied by chaperone

bullet

Students not following guidelines set by Mr. Rowe, Apex Band Boosters, and WCPSS will be sent home at next port of call, at parent/student’s expense.  Decisions to discipline students will be the ultimate decision of Mr. Rowe.

Money earned from the RBC events may not be available for application to trip cost, due to prolonged turnaround time for reimbursement checks

Grocery Card Sales

Food Lion cards sold in $50.00 gift cards earning 5% of amount purchased

Lowes’ Food cards sold in $50.00 gift cards earning 6% of amount purchased

Example:  You purchase $200.00 in Lowes and $100.00 in Food Lion

$12.00 + 5.00 = $17.00 in to your student’s account
