As an award-winning band in the Town of Apex, we are communicating with you to share some information about our 2007-2008 marching season.  As an established business, we are asking you to sponsor our organization.  We want you to be a part of this year’s very special show.

     Our show will inspire patriotism as well as invoke great warmth and appreciation for the services rendered to our country.  The troops in Afghanistan and Iraq will be honored as well as soldiers who served many years ago.  The time is right for a spirited display of respect.

     Paul Rowe, Director of Bands, has created a show called ARLINGTON … where valor proudly sleeps.  We are scheduled to play at all the Apex home football games and to participate in several competitions throughout the state, as well as to march in at least two local parades.  There will be many eyes and ears upon us.  With sponsorship from your company, you will be associated with this spectacular show.  Depending upon your donation, you will receive a generous amount of advertisement spanning from August to December.  

There are over 100 students in the marching band with parents included as band boosters, so our membership numbers close to 300.  We are a committed organization, but our contributions through band fees and fund-raising events will not be enough to alleviate our expenses.  Training, equipment, props, competition fees and transportation are just a few of our expenditures. 

We also have a trip to Arlington Cemetery in August so the students will see and feel firsthand the importance of the show.  They will gain perspective while in our Nation’s Capital that will strengthen their emotional ties to their music.  No matter where we travel to showcase our talent, the Arlington trip will be the foundation for the season.  We need your help to make this trip happen.  Our parents will be very grateful for any support from the community.

RED - $750 Donation
Recognition in a newspaper ad; your name printed on a banner displayed at all home football games; your name in all band event brochures; a place on the band website; and a framed picture of the band.

WHITE - $500 Donation
Your name printed on a banner for the football games; your name in band brochures and on the band website; a framed picture of the band.

BLUE - $250 Donation
Your name printed on band brochures and the band website; a framed picture of the band.
